Former Ghana U20 Star and Accra Great Olympics poster boy, Gladson Awako, has expressed his readiness to play for the senior national team when invited.
According to him, it is the dream of every footballer to don the national colours and fight for the honours and will not, therefore, turn his back to an invitation.
Speaking at the unveiling of a new bus by his club, Great Olympics, Awako noted that Ghana has a whole lot of good and quality players in the system with some plying their trade abroad.

He stated that if the national team coach feels, he (Awako), falls into his system and strategy and extends an invitation he will welcome it.
“If I fall into his plans and he feels Gladson is doing well and gives me that callup, I will very happy.”
“I am ready to take up that challenge.”
“It is the dream of every Ghanaian footballer to play for the national team so if the callup comes, I will be grateful for it,” he said.
