This was in fulfilment of a promise she made recently at a workshop in Prampram organized by Parliament of Ghana for the members of the PPC where she delivered the keynote address.

Coincidentally, the National Coordinator was the same person who gifted the current TV set at the PPC’s office when she was in Parliament as a lawmaker for two consecutive terms, January, 2005- January, 2012.

Presenting the set to the Dean of the PPC at her office, on Thursday 30th August 2018, and witnessed by other Executives, Madam Ohene-Konadu urged the media to continue exhibiting fair reportage at all times.

She thanked the media, especially, members of the PPC for their fair and balance reportage on both her office and Parliament.

The Dean of the Parliamentary Press Corps, Nana Agyeman Birikorang thanked the 1D1F National Coordinator for her kind gesture towards the PPC anytime they knock at her door.

“The PPC will forever remain grateful to you for the show of your support over the years”, he said.

Other executives of the PPC with the Dean to receive the donation were Simon Agianab, Vice Dean; Stephen Odoi-Larbi, Secretary; Christian Kpesese, Assistant Secretary and Yesmeen Abubakar Tetteh, an Executive Member.

The Parliamentary Press Corps is the umbrella body of all journalists assigned by their various media houses in the country who met all the requirements and are duly accredited by Parliament to report from the House.
