Ayittey Powers, Baba Spirit trade blows on live TV

By February 20, 2018 59 0

What was supposed to be a discussion between two panelists on a TV station ended up as a boxing ring with the two guests seen exchanging blows on live TV over what is yet to be uncovered.

It is not clear if boxer, Ayittey Powers and Baba Spirit already have unresolved scores to settle but the situation during a live television discussion reached its crescendo at the studios of Accra-based ATV on Monday night.

Ayittey Powers, born Micheal Ayittey Okine drew the first blood which sparked the entire pandamonium in the studio

In the ensuing melee, the helpless hostess was seen calling for help as a feeble Baba Spirit tried to gain his composure to determine whether to return the punches of the professional boxer who at that moment was enraged.

Ayittey Powers was overheard saying “If I knew you were going to invite this boy here, I wouldn’t have come in the first place” which seems to suggest both have some irreconcilable differences.

But the timely intervention of the production crew saved what would have been the unofficial bout at a TV station as they whisked Ayittey Powers away to the relief of Baba Spirit.

Mynewsgh.com is, however, gathering that in July last year, they clashed in the studios of an Accra-based FM station. Baba Spirit reportedly mocked Ayittey Powers after he lost woefully to Bukom Banku in a fight, and even went on to say that as slim as he is, he could easily beat Powers too.

He also asserted that Ayittey is so weak that even his wife beats him a claim that has infuriated him though he kept things to himself.
