The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Majority group has acquised to the President to hold off its protest against the Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and Minister of State at the Ministry, Charles Adu Boahene.

The Caucus had threatened to boycott all government business in Parliament including presentation of 2023 budget if the President fails to sack the two.

A statement by Majority leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu said after a meeting with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the MPs have agreed to wait till after conclusion of the IMF negotiations and presentation of the 2023 budget.
