Majority leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has admitted the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will face difficulties in its attempt to “breaking the 8” in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Despite the difficulties, he cited divine guidance as a key factor that would help the party overcome these obstacles.
In a press release dated January 28, 2024, Mr. Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu acknowledged that the parliamentary elections had made the task of “breaking the 8” more difficult.
However, he emphasized that the party could and must overcome these challenges with God as their guide.
The Majority Leader also took the opportunity to commend both the winners and the losers of the primaries, emphasizing the importance of unity and collective effort within the party as they approach the general elections in December 2024.
