The Mampong Akwapim Apesemakahene, Nana Yirenkyhi I, has urged Akwapim South constituency delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to vote massively for the Member of Parliament, O.B. Amoah, during the parliamentary primaries coming weekend.
In support of this call is the Kotokuhene, Nana Amano Ntiamoah Djan Akyerepre, who also appealed to the delegates to retain the MP to continue the good works.
According to the two chiefs, Mr. OB Amoah has done a lot and should be given the opportunity to continue.
The Akwapim South constituency, they said, has witnessed lots of projects in the health sector with the construction of community clinics and a district hospital.
“Akwapim South is soon getting a municipal status amidst the massive employment opportunities for the people and the annual support for the Odwira.”
“Don’t make a mistake at the polls else it will affect the Constituency adversely,” the two chiefs warned.
Politics, they argued, is to lobby for the people, help and be there with them at all times adding, “Not someone who doesn’t know anything but the urge to make money for his family.”
