Salah on the other hand, starred in Liverpool’s English Premier League title win under first year head coach Arne Slot. Salah led the league in goals scored and assists along the way.
Nominated with the African trio are Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe, FC Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal among others. Yamal has also been nominated for the Young Player (Kopa) Award.
