The group in a statement released on 12th of January, 2018 and signed by the Chair to the group, H.E. Martha Pobee, after an emergency meeting said its very unfortunate and outrageous for the President of the United State of America to make such a racist and xenophobic remarks.
The Ambassadors from Africa in the U.S are calling the President Trump to retract and apologize to all Africans and the Haitians across the continent.
The President of the United State was said to have called the Africa and Haiti as ‘shithole’ countries, which was reported widely in the media.
