National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Stephen Ayesu Ntim has called for reconciliation, unity and commitment in preparation for the upcoming general election campaign.

Despite some unresolved issues in certain constituencies, the chairman described the primaries as generally successful.

In a press statement, Chairman Ntim stressed the crucial role of reconciliation among party members at all levels.

He stressed the importance of forgiving past grievances to ensure effective collaboration in the forthcoming campaign.

“Without this bold first step, we cannot make any serious headway,” Ntim remarked and stressed the abandonment of bloated egos and vindictiveness in favour of commitment, selflessness, and unity.

Mr. Ntim also outlined the upcoming challenges for the party, which include not only the reconciliation process but also the need for full commitment to the campaign, personal involvement in meetings and campaign rounds, and the mobilization of necessary resources.

The party leadership, he said, is ready to provide the required resources to support the campaign.

The National Chairman called on members at the regional, constituency, and polling station levels to assess their preparedness and openly share their suggestions, concerns, frustrations, and expectations.

Ntim urged members to be ‘brutally frank’ in their contributions, emphasizing that niceties would not lead to victory in the elections.
