Ghana’s coronavirus count hits 3,091; Bono Region records first case

The Bono Region has become the 13th to record a case of the Coronavirus out of the 16 regions.

The case, the first in that region, was detected in the Jaman North District.

However, the Savannah, Ahafo and Bono East remain the only regions in Ghana yet to record a case.

According to the Ghana Health Service,  372 more Coronavirus cases have been recorded taking the total case count to 3,091.

Fortunately, as of May 7, 2020, nine more patients have recovered and discharged bringing the total number of recoveries to 303.

The death toll, however, remains 18, according to the GHS update with a total of 137,924 tests conducted so far.
