The group led by the Headmistress of the school, Rev Sister Mary Concepta was invited by the Deputy Ambassador to China, Dr. Charles Dwamena.
The group will be taken through some Chinese cultural and language class and visit some places of interest as part of the tour package.
Speaking to Frontpageghana.com, on phone from China, Dr. Charles Dwamena explained that the reason of inviting the students to China for the Summer Camp is for the kids, who are also being taking through some Chinese lessons in Ghana, to be abreast with what they study about the country and meet their partners.
This according to the Dr. Dwamena, will not be first and the last but it’s the beginning of a long relationship between the two countries and especially, the two Sister Cities.
Rev. Sister Mary Concepta was very thankful to Dr. Charles Dwamena, the Embassy, and also to the Chinese authorities in Beijing for such a historic visit.
