The National Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has extended hearty congratulations to the party for the successful conduct of its recent Parliamentary Primaries.
In a statement, the Council praised the smooth execution of the election process and acknowledged the efforts of all candidates who participated.
The statement also offered appreciation to the contestants, lauding them for their commitment and competitive spirit.
“To the victors and the losing aspirants, you have made us proud with your hard work and determination,” the Council noted, emphasizing that in internal party competitions, the focus should be on participation rather than just winning.
The Council stressed the importance of unity within the party, especially as they prepare for the upcoming December 2024 general elections.
They urged party members to not be complacent but to work diligently towards resolving any internal conflicts and to rally together with a unified purpose.
