Presenting the water, the Managing Director of Sulu Investments Ltd., Mr. Ram Randvan explained that their donation of the water to the Defence Ministry is part of the company’s social responsibilities and it will not end there, his company has also made plans to support the children the late Major Mahama left behind education.
According to Mr. Randvan, this unfortunate incident can happen to anyone and as they are already embarking on a project to help children, they found it very appropriate to come in to also donate to the funeral and make sure the children’s education is well catered for.

“I first saw the pictures on tweeter and was really shocked, and I asked myself, how could such maltreatment be meted out to a fellow human being, and we know the Defence Ministry will need water to serve the mourners at the funeral grounds, hence our donation to support.”
In his response after receiving the water, the Minister of Defence, Dominic Nitiwul thanked the company, Sulu Investments for their donation towards the funeral, and added that, the death of the late Major Mahama is very sad one that shocked the whole nation. He said this was one of the wicked act by those who took part and they will make sure the law deals with them.
The minister, who is also Member of Parliament for Bimbilla noted that they don’t discriminate in whoever or company that want to donate to the funeral, “any donation is welcome to make our fallen hero’s funeral well organized that will not leave any debt on the family.”
