DZIFA ATIVOR TALKS THROUGH HER NOSE, THAT’S WHY WE REJECTED HER – NDC DELEGATE.

According to some of the delegates, their decision to reject Dzifa Ativor stems from her arrogant posturing. One of the delegates interviewed after the polls had this to say about her;

“We had to reject her. She is too arrogant. In fact, she speaks through her nose. We cannot have such a person as our chairman. She thinks she can buy us with her money. To tell you the truth, she doesn’t have the qualities of a good leader, so we have voted against her!,” the delegate stated.

Another delegate also hinged their decision to vote against her on the scandalous bus branding episode which formed the basis for her to be sacked from office as transport minister. Some of the delegates believed that it could be used against her especially if she is hauled before court for prosecution.

Rumour also had it that Madam Ativor was being sponsored by the embattled financier of the NDC, Alfred Agbesi Woyome, and that also played heavily against her.

 The former Minister for Transport under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration yearned to unseat John Kwadjo Gyapong in the Volta regional chairmanship position of the National Democratic Congress.

The delegates, looking at the results of the elections, have confidence in the leadership of John Kwadjo Gyapong, thereby rejecting Dzifa Ativor as the next regional chairperson of the NDC in the party’s world bank.

Madam Ativor polled 374 votes as against the 491 votes her competitor garnered at the end of the elections.
