The 21-year old will be playing for the club youth side of the club (New York RedBull II) in the American second-tier league in the upcoming season.
“Wahab brings a unique skillset that we feel can adapt to how we play,” NYRB II head coach John Wolyniec said.
“We look forward to helping him integrate within the team as he continues his development here with us.”
The strong defender is expected to use the platform to prepare himself to play for the main team by next season.
