When Dr. Pudong gave his infamous description of what the 24-hour economic module operates, his party top guns descended on him.
When he indicated that the 24-hour economy program would see to the rearing of lions, tigers, dinosaurs and other wild animals for export, the Ashanti regional communications officer of the NDC distanced the party from him and his comments.
Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the opposition NDC issued a statement, censored Dr. Pudong and held that what he said was his own opinion and did not represent the views of the NDC.
Just this Saturday, at the launching of the NDC’s 2024 manifesto, John Dramani Mahama, itemizing sectors that would be affected by the 24-hour economic idea, indicated that night clubs would be operating 24 hours.
Mahama has come under a lot of flack for saying that night clubs would operate 24 hours. The absurdity in his proposal is quite obvious, hence the barrage of criticisms from many Ghanaians.
Is it not hypocrisy that Sammy Miami Gyamfi was swift and uncharitable in his press statement against what Dr. Pudong stated but Mahama’s own night clubs operating 24 hours has not received any condemnation from him?
Mahama’s 24 hour proposal for night clubs warrants equal response and criticism from the National Communications Officer of the NDC.
