According to the Legislator, the huge task of the government demands more ministers to make sure the task ahead is properly delivered to make the country a better place as it was before the National Democratic Congress(NDC) took over from the John Agyekum Kuffour’s government.

“Let’s all support the President for the wisdom he had to appoint such a number of ministers to serve in his government, because the mess created by John Mahama-led administration is nothing to write home about and we need more hands to support President Nana Addo to succeed”, he said

The MP said this when he was speaking on Oman FM, an Accra-based private radio station’s current affairs program, “Boiling Point” on Tuesday evening.

The first-time Member of Parliament noted that, though this is the first time any government of Ghana has appointed over 100 ministers to serve at various ministries, he is optimistic his party would be able to fulfil its promise to Ghanaians.

The appointment of over 100 minister to serve under President Akuffo Addo received mix reaction from a section of Ghanaians, including some civil societies and economy experts, claiming that, this will be a burden on the already ailing economic, but Mr. Mireku Duker think otherwise and called on Ghanaians to support the NPP government instead lambasting him.

“Am very sure Nana Addo will never disappoint us, as he said in his inaugural speech during the swearing-in, and pray that these appointees should serve with humility and with an eye opener”, he added.

The MP further added that the government is working hard to put in place good measures for the country have a stable electricity power for Ghanaian economy to grow.

He concluded that, the NDC’s claimed of solving the energy problems were debunked by ACEP, that the country will still wallow in the energy crisis until stringent measure were taken.
