National Democratic Congress (NDC) aspiring parliamentary candidate for Madina Constituency, Mr. Francis-Xavier Sosu has appealed to the delegates to vote for him.
The human right lawyer will be contesting the NDC’s primaries for the third time in Madina constituency.
Mr. Sosu in an interview on Accra 100.5fm, a private radio station in Accra on Tuesday monitored by Frontpageghana.com said his track record as a ‘fighter’ for justice for the poor put him ahead of other aspirants in the race.
“I have what it takes to be the parliamentary candidate for the NDC in the Madina constituency,” he said, adding: “Everybody knows my background as a lawyer and as someone who fights for the rights of the ordinary persons in the society.”
“I believe I’ll win the seat for the NDC and, so, I appeal to the delegates to vote for me,” he stressed.
The Madina seat is currently occupied by Abubakar Boniface Siddique, Minister of State at the Vice President’s office in the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
