Ghana’s Deputy Ambassador to China, Dr Charles Dwamena on Saturday October 24th 2020 joined the Parliamentary Candidate for Kwadaso Constituency, Dr Kingsley Nyarko, the Constituency Chairman, Mr Bona, the Member of Parliament for the Constituency, Dr Samiu Nuamah, the Hon Minister of Agriculture, Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto, the Hon Majority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu and other party stalwarts to embark on a health walk from Nzema to Tanoso.
The health walk, which brought together thousands of NPP supporters in the constituency was aimed at mobilizing the people to vote massively for the President HE Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the Parliamentary Candidate come December 2020.
Addressing the crowd at the end of the health walk, Dr China, as the Deputy Ambassador is popularly known, highlighted the fact that every household in Ghana has benefited from the good governance of the Nana Addo led NPP Government and that the December election is to show appreciation for a good job than whiles extending the mandate for four more years to do more for Ghana. He therefore appealed to the party supporters to leave no stone unturned in getting the masses to realize this fact so as to achieve over 95% of the votes in the constituency for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and Dr Kingsley Nyarko.
Advising the charged crowd, the Majority Leader commended the show of maturity exhibited by the aspirants who lost the Kwadaso primaries particularly, Dr Samiu Nuamah and Mr Vincent Frimpong Manu, for coming all out to support the winner, Dr Kingsley Nyarko. He tasked all supporters of the aspirants to rally behind the PC to achieve a massive victory come December 7.
The occasion was also used to celebrate the former MP and current Minister for Agriculture, Hon Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto for his sterling performance at the Ministry leading to the resounding success of the Planting for Food and Jobs program.
Other dignitaries present included Hon Maxwell Kofi Juma -MD of GIHOC Distillery, Hon Agyenim Boateng – MCE of Kwadaso Municipal, Mr Vincent Assafuah -PC for Tafo Pankrono, the Ashanti Regional Organizer- Francios, the Ashanti Regional Research Officer and the Ashanti Regional Communication Officer.
